SynergEyes Introduces Modification to Multifocal Lens

Carlsbad, CA (May 21, 2010) – SynergEyes, Inc., the high Dk hybrid contact lens manufacturer, has introduced a slight modification to the SynergEyes® Multifocal lens, which has been proven to enhance comfort and wearability for patients with normal corneas. The modification known as the Peripheral Blend is now available in all lens parameters and has been shown to increase patient success rate by more than 50%.

SynergEyes Awarded Two New U.S. Patents


Carlsbad, CA (June 15, 2009) – SynergEyes, Inc., the high Dk hybrid contact lens manufacturer, announced today that it has been issued two new patents from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The first new patent has an extensive claim set of 27 claims and provides protection for aspheric geometries within the landing area, which includes the just-launched ClearKone™ and other subsequent design evolutions. In addition, the patent claims the use of a diagnostic set to fit high Dk hybrid contact lenses and the use of fluorescein to evaluate the fit of a high Dk hybrid contact lens.
